Frequently asked questions

How fast is the VPS activated?

The server is created automatically as soon as the order is confirmed — usually within a few minutes. The root password appears in your panel, in the cloud servers section.

Do I get full root access?

Yes. The server is yours: you log in over SSH as root, install whatever you want and configure the system as you need. You can regenerate the root password yourself from the panel.

Where are the data centres?

In Europe — Nuremberg and Falkenstein (Germany) and Helsinki (Finland). You pick the location during configuration, based on where your users are.

Can I change the plan later?

Yes. If the project grows you move to a larger plan; no data is lost and the change is coordinated with us so downtime stays minimal.

How is it different from shared hosting?

On shared hosting the resources are split between many customers and there is no root access. On a VPS the vCPU, RAM and disk are dedicated to you and you have full control over the system.

Are backups automatic?

Snapshots and backups are available depending on the plan and are managed from the panel. We always recommend taking a snapshot before any major change to the server.
